I have loved the most beautiful person ever, my mother
And, I have the best siblings, like ever ever
I have had the most dedicated father ever born
And, a dearest friend- embodiment of faith!
And of friends and pleasant company!
What joy and what blessings! Where do I start counting with!!
And, so this is how I came to this side of the world
with the best mumma
and best papa and best brothers
and best friend, oh dearest dearest!
"It is just a PhD mumma. A tough matter of 4-5 years."
Thats what I had said!
Who knew that I would live to see the most profound sunset ever!
Who knew that there would be a search for something unheard, untouched ever!
And, that I, who came here loving, longing and losing
Would see that all that was loved, longed and lost
was no thing at all!
And, that death would be felt so closely
The loss so seemingly immense and irretrievable
And then a birth would follow soon so close by
With news of ear infections and day care!
And that I would meet not one but four!
Four marvellous teachers!
And, that I would get the smartest and kindest advisor!
Who knew!
I have seen the most beautiful flowers that can grow, grow
And yes I have heard the most melodious riotous bird songs
every single spring morning!
I have seen the brilliant hues of all seasons
and I have lived the vexations of them all!
I have played in the laps of the youngest and the oldest of all mountains!
I have fallen and lived the entire fall!
From the dark rat-hole of self-isolations
and the long nights at work
and the star gazing and star counting
to hardly working and
to finding the twin, who somehow grew up on a different continent,
and perhaps even tasting a bit of what can be called love~
Woah! Blacksburg!
With your few bicycle lanes
and green farmers' market
and the great grand The Lyric
and the most welcoming community!
and the foods and stuff of Eats
and the nicest students to boast of
Aah!
I feel like I am the richest person to have ever walked this planet
in flesh or blood.
Who knew! ha ha
Who knew what was in store, when I signed up for this trip!

I am the richest to have ever been born on face of this gorgeous planet
Who knew that your gifts would be so rich and plenty!
