On Mirrors~

I want to start a story. A story that you will create with me! In your head! (For without you creating it, this story cannot be.) And, it could be one of the most alive story that you have ever authored or created. This particular one is called mirrors:

I will set the stage for our story to begin. And, on this stage, let the story begin in this room. And, in this room, two mirrors are facing each other from opposite walls. Notice how the light between the two mirrors is reflecting endlessly:

Ever been in a room with mirrors facing each other from opposite walls?
Remember those
 infinite images
You behind you, behind you, behind you... and so on!
Until it is dim enough for  the infinity to be invisible!

Now, add few colorful tiles to our room. Look at their colorful reflections everywhere! Let us add few more colors, lines, curves and angles to this cascade of infinite images! Witness, as they together make kaleidoscopic patterns.

Let us go 3-D now! Add mirrors everywhere- in all perceivable dimensions! Mirrors on the roof- On the floor- On each side- and at various angles. Infinite reflections!

Witness the distracting patternless patterns! See the kaleidoscopic infinite images that this mirror-room is producing. Images, Images everywhere!

Revisit the objects that you added in this room- the tiles, the lines, the angles, the curves, and the colors, and the kaleidoscopic reflections that this mirror-room gave back.

Add motion. See the mirroring kaleidoscopic room go into whirl (Look, what have you done!)
Witness the commotion you just created.

Welcome to life!

Welcome to Life!

  1. Gargi,

The first thing that came to my mind was a circle partitioned into 3 sectors colored Red, Green and Blue and set to spin producing the color white. Other words that stimulate similar feelings are: i) Love ii) Fractals iii) Symmetry iv) Chaos v) Polygons and Hyper-dimensional spaces vi) Entropy vii) Infinity and Universe
